My car takes 5 1/4 on a change, it took six when I did the balance shaft removal.
My T/A gets changed once a year tops… I got 4k on RP so far ;D
I change mine when my oil life meter gets far enough down in the % to flash “change engine oil.” It takes 6 quarts of Mobil 1.
my gti with the stock filter is 3.9 qt with a passat 1.8t filter its 5qt, with an aftermarket oil cooler i could do almost 7 + the giant filter and id get almost 8qts of capacity.
i thought i was the only one. mine is every 10kmi.
I change my filter every 3k or so, oil every other filter change.
I’ve been using M1 5w40, but I’m gonna go with Rotella 5w40 this upcoming change for the winter.
Just changed the H2 oil today (actually I tricked pep boys into doing it for free :)), as if tricking them is difficult)… Closest guess to how many miles it was since the last one wins… a mint 1995 mustang console (black), some old remains of rear BMW seats, and a buncha other car junk.
