He’s referring to Bob Barker… and your getting warm…
I bought it last October, I had it changed that day… I guess that was the last time. I drive for a job basically.
Thank you, atleast two of us aren’t completely retarded!!
Who’s getting warm? me at 22k? I’m gonna have to go ahead and guess 25,450 Bob!
;D
Ya gotta check the white text, ya n00bz. 'Twas a joke ;D
I guess 1 MILLION miles :mwahaha
I sent some to BlackStone for testing… should be interesting. Oil still looked interesting… definately no longer absorbing many contaminants. Lets just sya… your all still to low.
I’m was sorta hoping to use the warranty for a new motor before it runs out…
I’ll know what the deal is after the oils analized! :cool :nuts
Damn I was hoping to win the free car shit!
You were closest right?
Just makin sure!
I wonder if the rear BMW seats will fit in the Civic :ponder haha

True story:
I got my sentra for free from my cousin’s gf at the time, they couldnt remember the last tiem they change the oil…and I’ve put 20k on it with no oil.
I run diesel oil in my Corvette, and it costs me about 35 dollars for a full synthetic oil and filter change. I laugh when I read about Corvette retards going to a dealer to get their oil changed and paying like 110 bucks or whatever.
IMO, if you own a modified car and don’t have the mechanical know how to change the oil, you should not own it in the first place.
Also don’t understand why people brag about going long periods of time or mileage without changing the oil. I could never drive/fly something knowing that I’m causing possible mechanical damage that a simple oil change could prevent.
i thought 10kmi was long for a car like mine, but the book says 10 and the dealer says 10, so i dont really argue. plus i drive like a granny, so
Beaters/warrantied cars ftw.
There are a few reasons actually:
Heres one… - Proving a point…to who?? To myself. I send my oil in for analysis all the time… and there are so many differences and cool comparisons, I long wanted to have the chance to go 25k+ miles and see drastic differences in the analysis. So yeah, stupidly risked a motor, or at least some wear, for …well… fun.
That sounds idiotic .
plz explain this, sir
:ponder
heres who I have been using recently… http://www.blackstone-labs.com/
what do you typically test for and what do you pay on average?
Standard analysis usually…(sometimes the Dyson…I ordered the Dyson for this long run)… will tell you what you need to know about the condition of your engine and how it’s wearing. The standard analysis costs $22.50 and includes the following: As per site:
Spectral Exam: Establishes the levels of wear metals, silicon, and additives present in the oil. Also checks for coolant.
Viscosity: Determines the grade of oil.
Insolubles: Quantifies the percentage of solids present in the oil.
Flash Point: Determines the flash point of the oil. We use the flash point to determine whether any contamination is present in the oil (determined when the flash is lower than the “should be” range).
