You may also want to check on all the bushings- if you had lowered the car considerably on the stock front upper control arms- those bushings are probably shot (even with fairly low miles) which, in turn, kills the rest off in a matter of time. In the rear, check on your trailing arm bushings (the huge rubber pivot bushing in the middle of the trailing arm) the spokes/fingers/whatever-you-want-to-call-them get destroyed and the rear end could definitely ‘float’ and cause all sorts of crazy intermittent dog legging (I think I’ve heard of it referred to as ‘dog tracking’)… but I’d say bushings and/or ball joints would be the first place to check, sir…
I replaced the front upper arms with omni camber arms. Although I know the ball joint boots are torn, so I wouldnt be suprised if they are worn out. Thats what I ordered today was replacement ball joints for the omni arms. I looked at my trailing arm bushings and they have some small cracks in them, but nothing is really torn.
