Alignment Problems

I don’t know what it is my car keeps pulling to the right
and sometimes it’s normal. When i take a turn on a on ramp It feels messed up like wobbly, and unpredictable at times. I took my car to a alignment shop and they said it was perfect? wtf is going on my alignment is messed up i don’t know what the hell is going on. Do you think they did anything? could i have a bent arm or something the alignment machine didn’t pick up?

go to another shop?
any suggestions i hate driving like this.

Could be your steering rack. Perhaps skipping a tooth or something. When making a turn, does the wheel seem to jump a bit? Is that what you meant by wobbles?

Other than that, it could be your balljoints. thats the only other thing I could think of.

no nothing to do with my steering rack, it feels like the wheels or something

will it throw the machine off if you have camber wear??

Don’t think so.

Honestly, it’s sounding more and more like your balljoints. If it feels like the wheels are skipping or something while turning, another possibility is the wheel bearings.

Do a quick test on the ball joints. Go to your car, jack up the front, and try to shake the wheels up and down, side to side. Soo if there is any unusual amounts of play. If so, it’s the balljoints.

I had the same problem for a while, but i just chalked it up to bad roads. Feel for camber wear. (technically not camber wear). I needed new balljoints and i could tell from the fuckedupballjoint wear as it was uneven on either side.

well the shop should’ve checked your front end before doing the alignment, if they didnt its a pretty shitty shop, i do alignments and i always check cause if sumthing is loose theres absolutly no point in adjusting anything. if everything is tight then it could be upper strut bearings making your car pull, when these are done if you turn to the right then try to go straight the car will want to pull to the right and same with the left side, also could be seized caliper

I had this happen to my car,Ii took all the wheels off then didn’t put them back where they came from and my car would pull to the right even after an alignment.

Then I switched the right front wheel with the wheel from the rear right and it was perfect again. My rear tires where worn more and it was easy to tell since there where directional.

keep an ear out for any clunking while you drive…particularly driving into driveways/entrances when you hit the curb. check your control arm ball joints, tension rod bushings, and tie rod ball joints if this is the case by looking/feeling for wear/play.

its seems like you may be right on, i’ll check that

thanks everyone now i got some ideas what could be the problem.

ball joints for sure.

jack up the front of the car. grab each wheel from top and bottom and try wiggling it about it’s vertical axis, looking for play.
