best thing to do is make it mandatory to learn to drive on a manual car. Anyone that has driven a manual pays more attention to what they are doing then driving auto… i own both and honestly i find myself doing everything under the son while in the automatic. People in Toronto can’t drive they panic easily and can decide what to do in a emergency, even pulling to the right to let emergency vehicles pass is a big deal for them. I’m from a small island and driving with one lane is an everyday thing… sometimes the road is only big enough for one vehicle but accidents are at a minimum and the speed limit is 120km/h… toronto is P***Y…lol
Personally I find the one driver doing 90km/h on the highway is the MOST unsafest condition. Just last night driving on the 401 west, I was being cut off constantly because I was in the left lane next to this “slow” driver. An X5 was inches from hitting my front fender, a civic was inches from hitting my rear quarter panel.
And yet they’re classified as “Safe” because the speed limit is Maximum 100.
Have you ever been stuck behind someone going to slow? How much of a threat is it when you need to pass them but everybody in the only lane available is doing 100 or 110?
has anyone been having an unusual amount of people cutting you off this summer moreso than before? it’s specifically vans for me…but my car’s a bit lower this year than last year so i’m thinking that has something to do with it?..
in general i find the normal drivers will generally here our exhausts beside them and so they don’t really do anything retarded.
it’s the shitty drivers that first check their blind spot, then take a million seconds to actually make their move…so by the time you’re beside them they start moving into your lane. that’s my theory.
its simple, nova scotia & New brunswick have safe roads because there still dominantly white. Ontario, BC, Alberta…there are more immigrants than naturally born citizens on the roads. im not tryin to be racist by any means its just a fact that these people come here from there hell gotten countries and think they own the roads cuz in canada all u get is a ticket or insurance rate hike instead of a grenade through the window. maybe we should all start carrying ak47’s in our passenger seats and straping bombs to our chests, then people may think twice b4 cutting eachother off.

that is so short sighted. But you can also say that for every bad driver we get from one country you can say we get a good one from europe who’s used to driving on safer roads.

ever think about having a convoy exactly like that doing the speed limit on 401 except of course only blocking 3-4 lanes and leaving the left free to pass…?
I bet the same result would happen more or less, lots of angry drivers shooting out the hole on the left, for safety the convoy would have to be 4 deep and consist of beaters to prevent insane lane jumpers trying to “just make it”
SOHC Ka’s should be on the sides and the front so any wreckless accidents wouldnt really matter.
