Dominican republic Type ARR

punta cana last year.

It had 4 Bolt wheels?

SiR-G

Pretty sure alot of the early run Type-R’s (In Japan anyways) had 4 bolt wheels. By the time they got to the U.S. they has switched to the 5 bolt wheels for the ITR. I tried finding this in writing somewhere, but as of right now I’m talking out my ass lol.

I thought 96-maybe 98 had the bigger 4 bolt lug spacing like accords ect. and then they went to 5 bolt.

96-specR has 4 x 114.5, all other years of ITR/CTR had 5 x 114

Was there such a thing as a left hand drive 96 Type R though?

Not in the US market, not sure about elsewhere

there was an itr from 96-98 none in 99 and then it came back in 00 and 01. i think it came to the us in 97, not sure though.

or the person could have just bought the parts, because those are SiR-G headlights, and front bumper ITR had the front lip, and those wheels def aren’t ITR wheels. And there is no rear wiper which leads me to believe that it might have originally been an RS model? Idk though

Yea thats true, I mean there are ricers everywhere. That guy wouldn’t be the first to build his own ITR.

Who’d have guessed.:sadwavey:

I’d pwn you…but I pretty much have the same paint color as a ITR soooo :greddy2:

nice catch. you beat me to it on the headlights and rear wiper, i didnt even notice the missing front lip lol

96-97 type r had chrome head lights 96 had 4 x 114.5, 97 started the 5 bolt
