Im just curious to see what ppl have run.
i went for the first time ever and pulled a 13.39@105, witha 2.01 60 foot.
thats with no burnout, and 25psi in the tires, on 11psi of boost.
almost immediatly after that a volvo blew up and coated the track in tranny oil, everyones times slipped after that.
1st run
13.39@105 2.01 60
2nd run
14.55@77 2.27 60 (mad wheel spin every where, freaked out and took it easy, damn volvos)
3rd run
13.88@104 2.20 60
4th run
13.89@104 2.14 60
5th run
14.02@103 (bogged the launch really badly)
Did a few runs yesterday for the first time. SOHC Ka-t on 5.5psi tires @ 20-25psi
14.907@93.58mph-60ft 2.163
14.874@93.43mph-60ft 2.081
14.695@95.29mph-60ft 2.225
14.650@94.53mph-60ft 2.124
my best run but i stopped after this 14.647@86.82mph-60ft 2.075, I blew off a silicon coupler right before the end of the QM, scared the bajesus out of me. One thing I need to work on is my R/T.
P.S. These runs were done on stock injectors and a 10:1 fmu, no tuning done , going back afetr the 460’s go in with a good tune, numbers should go down
Good stuff guys - those are very decent numbers. Now is the best time to hit the strip since ambient temps dip way down (esp at night).
And yeah, the timer doesn’t start till your wheels pass the timing beam a.k.a. R/T does not affect your individual 1/4 run. R/T + E/T is used in competitive heads up racing, not test n tune.
And yeah, as Happy already mentioned - low 60ft times are key.
Almost full weight, 2860 with me in it, minus spare and jack.
Mmmm 2500 ish?? Dumping clutch.
Over revving like crazy, I still think I drive a honda.
Late July, at night. Not hot, not cool.
Was on some 195s, was still getting a good 60 foot, but lots of spin into second.
true
i was on the 225 50 16 falken beta fk451s that i pretty much killed in niagara. they were cooked and not sticky at all, spinning righ tthrough 1 and 2
i have vids if someone can host them for me.
