I just failed my test. I actually passed the first part but the idle didn’t make it.
Here’s what I had:

HC 200 361
CO 1 2.43
NO n/a n/a
I’m going change the oil, check the plugs,wires, o2 sensor do all that and take it in warmed up, probably should’ve done all this before I went in the first time…any other suggestions?
The mechanic actually told me to have it diagnosed on the computer and find exactly whats wrong, anybody know a shop that’ll run a computer check for free?
Note: Go back to the same place you had it tested and you pay like half for a re-test. Otherwise, you have to pay the same amount again if you go some place different.
Hint: You could think about putting a bottle of gas line antifreeze in. There have been some people who have benefitted from this, so the rumours say.
I checked the plugs they’re fine. I checked the wires and the wire to cylinder 2 doesn’t spark continuously, it seems to be missing sometimes…but its not that bad. Could this be the problem?
Suggestions?
