So i just bought some new bulbs for the drl’s and the housing where you put the bulb in is different form either side. so now one of my bulbs wont fit. this isn’t standard on the 240 is it? I’m guessing the guy before me for some reason cut one and put a different light bulb holder thing in.
im not sure if its the same but i have 1157 bulbs in the front and 906 or 907 bulbs in my third brake light 1157 in the rear brake lights to not the third brake light though
turns out he did change the setup on one but not the other, do you think i can buy the other thing just at partsource or crappytire?
y dont u just buy new drls? they’re like $25-30 for two new housings
someones def messed with them if there different houseings…its supposed to be the same each side.
he means the bulb holder not the reflector housing
weaves, you can find one at a junkyard or somewhere on SON
prolly your best bet to run an 1156 bulb (the oem one) rather than whatever the fuck’s meant for the replaced holder
ya went to part source, got a universal one, had to do a little modifying, so its all good now.
