I even got a bag, water cantine, and bottle of water for waiting outside :rofl
I’d have to agree with you there. Every Moto phone I have had was significantly better in signal and overall phone quality.
Except for the RAZR. That thing broke like 10 times for everone that I knew that had one. My cousin went through 8 and it was from manufacturer defects or very light abuse. Stuff that my EVO or even the Palm Pre would have sneezed at.
Nah, I will say, I am still somewhat of an iPhone fag, and I do believe now after using android for almost a year that it is substantially better (IMO, and for the more “tech” savvy people, not necessarily gurus) but the iPhone is simple/sleek and I do believe that they will stay ahead in the cell phone market for quite some time, if not for its existence. People like simple, people like shit that works, and well to be honest its kind of nice that a new phone only comes out once every year and your not feeling liek you have some old POS every 2 months. The iPhone OS is solid, and while it is “locked down” it works extremely well, and people like pick up and go. Where as android is a little more scruffy, may require to kill apps with a task killer app and to stay on top of keeping it cleaned out, but thats the price you pay for true multitasking and the ability to have 3rd part programs live throughout the core of the OS on the phone.
That’s because the RAZR was mostly owned by 14 year old girls who couldn’t and still can’t do anything right.
I hear they lay on their backs quite well :rofl
So I just played with the X at Verizon. It’s way too big and way too flimsy for me. I would break it in a day…lol. I still want the incredible.
big yes… flimsy… how so? thing feels more solid than my droid… except its plastic instead of metal that dents horribly.
I want my flip phone back.
I guess it’s just cuz it’s lightweight. And I think the size really through me off. I did like the physical keys, like home and back. And the huge screen would be nice. I need to do something. I’ve got the Eris and I am concerned for when 2.2 and 3 come out. Cuz all the new Droid phones have the 1 gig processor and tons of on board memory. So I don’t know how well my phone will run them. I will probably just wait til I can pick up a used incredible from someone, no way am I shelling out $600 for one without an upgrade.
The Eris really wakes up when you overclock, I run mine @ 787mhz with good results.
That being said, I would prefer the Droid X. The camera on the Eris is a total piece of shit. I had a Samsung Omnia before and that had a REAL 5mp camera and that was worlds ahead of the Eris (and the iPhone).
John we need to root my phone. And overclock it. Maybe it won’t suck so bad.
Definitely, and I think some mullet mobile drifting is in order too.
My cousin is giving me the hook-up as soon as I get home. May actually order it from here (vacation in Myrtle Beach) so it will be home when I get there… lol. Can’t wait since my BB Storm is on its last few legs… lol
Hell yeah dude!!!
