drove a vortec'd 95 gsr today.. not impressed...

i really wasn t to impressed with this gsr… at all… i drove kolar’s n/a before and it just felt stronger then this one!

the sc felt like it only makes power up at 6500-8 k… i know thats vtec but i mean it serious has nothing below6500 rpm.,

like i always thought that s’c… tc’s carry the car at low rpm! this one felt sluggish…

vortech = centrifugal

boost keeps increasing proportionally with RPM’s until redline

The faster the motor spins the belt, the faster the blower spins, the more boost is made.

Kolar had a JRSC, its a roots blower, like on an 03 Cobra… hits full boost at like 2K RPM’s, but dies out on the top-end…

full boost at 2k? :confused:

was it a jackson racing supercharger?

i know a kid who couldn’t beat a 4.3L s-10 w/ one of those on his Integra until after 105 mph :rolleyes: 5 psi = poop for him

its what darkstar stated… vortec s trim

it has rc eng injector… 3 inch exhaust… header… not sure on cat or not as i didn t look…

basically i ran it and wasn t impressed! im sure it might of been 14.9ish car

the guy picked it up for 5500$ 95 gsr with vortec… rc injectors… dc headers… lowerd… black on black… fmu… full stereo system…

i would of bought that car for 5500… took it back to stock and re sold the car and parts and made a ton!

it was a nice car just wasn t impressed

why the fuck cant I find a STOCK GSR in the summer for that much…

christ… at least i didnt buy one, ther 3rd gens get stolen 5x’s as much as 2gs do…

he’s talking about when i had my GSR before the turbo kit… it had a DC header, 5 zigen exhaust, pulleys, AEM CAI, testpipe,and timing advance. And went 14.7 @ 97mph.

The jrsc was on my civic Si…but yea, that bitch was fun. Until it hit 100mph and fell flat on its face.

Really, you mean the JRSC was on the Civic and not the GSR?
