Well ur really the only people i have to ask…
anyways… do u think ican get away with running a 245/45/17 Drag radial on the car in place of slicks… with my new BBK i cant run anything under a 17" wheel so slicks wont work…
obviously i know they will probably rub a lil bit… but i can use spacers to put the wheels out a lil bit… as they are going to be track only tires…
has any FWD dsm guys done this?
do you have longer lugs? They will check to see how many threads you have showing outside the lugnut…
You can run this however, you will rub, obviously the best choice would be to run slicks but what can you do.
What offset is the wheel? You can fit anything if you caclulate the offset and space. Check this out, you may be able to adapt the formula for a Tiburon:

On my 1g DSM I would need a crazy offset if I wanted to run that wide. My lower spring seat would rub on those all day long. Extended lugs would be a must along with reinforced halfshafts.
My fiance drives the same style tib as you…I will look to see if they have the same spring seat as teh 1g fwd…I don’t think they are. You may actually have more room than I do.
