i think thta will be hard to tune now, and wonder how the clearance is to the chain when riding

and think it would throw off geomotery of bike also since pipes help with weight

When riding there is no problem cooking your feet. just when your at a stop you have to cheat a little forward and it goes right behind your legs. It won’t cook the chain o-rings, and I rode it over the speed bumps in my lot a bunch of time to make sure the chain wouldn’t hit. How the fuck is it going to throw the geometry of the bike off, or be hard to tune?

going from a bike with dual pipes to a single throws the weight off some so you would think the same theory as removing a heavy can from one side and not having anythng would hurt some. only true way to test is to hammer it on the twisties.

and the tune, you have no can, no form of resistance, i removed the can off my bike before and it was horrible when trying to run it put it back on and ran fine. did same to anothe bike and fouled the plugs out very quickly

well is that a new 06 with the tiny ass exhaust already at the bottom? or is that an older one? cause an older one i can see because the pipe weighs like 15 lbs or so i would imagine. looks awesome…

i dont think im doin my true duals any time soon… cant sell my exhaust :frowning:

also you would lose alot of lowend, which would make bike slower down low for normal riding.

well, it has a butterfly valve in the header so that will close to give it the low end back, and he will be getting it tuned. It is an 06 GSXR. There was no heavy can on the right side to begin with. They have the tiny little stub that comes out of the cat.
