Do you just call things you don’t like ‘libreal’? [sic]
what if someone runs an injection and wipes out your petition? I am sure you take backups, but I’m just sayin
The biggest thing I’m curious about is just how seriously will this be taken? I know it’s a lot better looking than the average online petition but it’s still just an online petition. Quoting snopes, they are worth about as much as “a blank piece of paper.”
did I really just read all this
Signed… was planning to go next year. Oh well. Maybe I’ll hit the Glen if I get a weekend off.
What is wrong to moving the event to TMP? that is a nice track and easier on brakes and tires. Two nice long straights too.
Just curious…
read this WHOLE thread and this one and you’ll see why no one will go there.
cliffs. because people are generally lazy. TMP was aiding the shutdown of Dunnville

^^How true about the Lazies, The Glen is the way to go if Dunnville is lost for good
Watkins Glen, NY (140 miles from Buffalo)
no people not everything i don’t like=liberal. but they do most of the stuff that i don’t like!
signed
good luck
It’s actually the Liberal party that’s been in power that opposes the track from the political standpoint. The local Conservative party has been much more supportive.
Hahahahaha… Joe, pwned yet again by Dunnville.
Came across this today http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=4589395
The glen is an awesome track! Problem is, I’d think it would be quite a bit more expensive and harder to reserve days since its a higher profile track with more events going on than Dunnville. Figures that it gets shut down right when I move close enough to make it to some track days.
It never crossed my mind before the added stink factor for the owner of Dunnville having a maintained fleet of formula cars in the hanger. What do you do in that situation?
“FS: Dozen Formula cars- $100,000” ???
You move them to a different track. Easy enough.
Bump
The online petition in the NY license plates thread made me think of this.
Any news from Dunnville?
Nothing that we can make public at the moment, but I can say that this petition has had a positive impact towards the effort
Yes it is more expencive, but not out of reach. You can get a 2day club event for $450. Those are usually like a Monday and Tuesday events. Is it free NOPE, but you have to pay to play. I think that it is ~$15,000 to use the track for 1 day with full EMT’s flaggers and stuff. So any club has some real costs to cover.
They only really “close” the track 2x a year durring race season Nascar and INDY weekend. Other than that its allways open.
GOOD LUCK DUNNVILLE!
dunnville = $100 for 6 hours = $16 per hour
the glen = ~ $350 for two days in which you’ll drive about 4 hours total = $87 per hour.
I love the glen, but the price difference per hour is a LOT better at dunnville.
