Decided to change the headliner color to black from the ugly tan in my E36. So I picked up a couple cans of Flat black Dupli-Color Fabric paint. I was a little nervous about painting it at first but it came out pretty well. I’m pleased. Now I just need to pick up some Black Visors, Lights, and Handles. Let me know what you guys think! Ya, maybe cause a stock headliner + A & C pillars, sunroof and whatnot would of cost upwards of $300 for USED parts and i bet this will last just as long… Total cost was about $30?
Paint can be had at autozone/advance for ~$5 a can.

I’ve had a few friends that have used the dye for headliners/plastic parts, when prepped properly they hold up GREAT!

I like the look of the grey and black together.
And if this is anything like the stuff they made years ago for plastic, your fine, that car will be in the junkyard long before it starts to peel, or fade.
