SAE is what everyone uses, get back to work!!

Get the raw data file from the Dyno operator. Then go to the Dynojet website and download the software and you can fiddle to your heart’s content. I don’t even bother with the printouts - just the raw data.
BTW - SAE is the most consistent correction you can get. We use it for our road racing dyno certifications. If you don’t compare consistent compensations, then you are simply masturbating.
Thats what I was told most people use(SAE), so thats why I posted that up.

na… im happy with my :v8killer: im glad he sold it. and i bet he is glad he sold it.
NICE real numbers, honestly
other numbers is stretching the truth. and other numbers are for magizines.
What are you talking about? It was like 5 horsepower off the uncorrected number.
Its not like it was 500 whp SAE and 400 whp uncorrected, now that would be something to gripe about.
You’re making it seem like he’s trying to impress people with an inflated number, when everyone on the planet uses the SAE correction factor.
Thanks. Thats exactly how I didn’t want to come across, I was told SAE is basically what everyone puts down, which is why I used that in the first place. From now on I’ll list both. I plan on going back to hybrid in a few weeks.
SAE corrections account for differences in the ambient temperature, barometric pressure, and I believe also humidity (though I could be wrong on that one).
They have nothing to do w/ correcting for a particular dyno and everything to do with correcting for the “quality” of the air during the dyno session. Otherwise you could never compare a dyno pull made in Denver to one made out here near sea-level in Cali, for example.
Anyway, nice numbers. Too bad we’ll never get a chance to run. My latest #s are 453/RWHP but only 425RWTQ out my little 348cui NA motor. You out torque me… but I think I’m around 600lbs lighter. It’d be fun!

Thanks. You’d get me though since that car is so damn light.
Nice #'s … Congrats
