Dynoing the 240 tonite

You guys need to check out some fire department classifieds and you should beable to find a nice big ehaust fan 30-36 inch (electric) or if you want you could find a gas powered PPV Fan (positive pressure ventilation) cheep. Especially if the seller is liquidating.

This would be an example of an PPV gas fan, an electric one is very similar. This is a Tempest brand

Im not even the slightest bit happy with 343 rwhp. :mad: Needs mad a/f tuning. The goal is 450 rwhp by summer.

343 aint bad for a baseline. you cant expect it to be perfect from the get go. im sure it has an easy 400hp with a good tune.

kolar I was thinking of something. did jay do 3rd or 4th gear pulls in your car. I heard him shift 2 times so I would assume 3rd but he may have started the rollers in 2nd. I would assume he did a 4th gear pull though cause that only seems like he would do it like that.

anyway I talked to a few people on honda-tech and they said do 4th gear pulls on the dyno.

im pretty sure you want to do all runs in a gear that is 1:1 on the dyno so you get the most accurate run

I dont think a tune will take you from 343 to 400rwhp. Although Im not familiar with your setup, are you running a SR20?

yea a gain of 60hp is alot actually

i gained 60 from tuning my car. and i got a shit tune

with the turbo he has on the car it will do 400whp with a better tune

I need some dyno time, to lock in my tune also… my goal is 525

i dont think you know what you are talking about. 55hp isnt that much to pick up from a good tune.
