So I picked this up Thursday night and me and some friends started tearing into it on Friday, took the head off and stripped the rear interior and trunk. Decent body with almost no rust, paint mostly destroyed like most Florida cars that sat outside. Car ran and drove poorly, needs head gasket, shifter bushings, and all the typical maintenance items.

Its an 85 325e, I picked it up mostly for use as a daily beater for the gas mileage of the eta, but we will see what it turns into. Tell me what you think, especially about paint, I need a cheap paint solution that doesn’t completely suck.

I’d recommend ellipsoid headlights, those sealed beams are dangerous lol.

I believe there’s a 2.5 head for sale on here. toss in some SETA pistons and that head/engine management and it will be fast and tons of fun

what rear end is in that e30?

I’m still trying to clean the ID plate enough to read it, haha. Not sure what it came with stock. It has sports package but I know the 325es wasn’t available in 85 from what I’ve read.
