If that’s the case I’d go with LS power for that reason alone - even with a big snail in a small chassis, if you run an S52/54, you’re going to putter it around town waiting for boost to come on. On the other hand, you can actually have a ton of fun under 3K RPMs with LS displacement. I will admit that the BMW powerplants will make slightly cooler noises but along with those come stiff grabby clutches and those get old real quick day to day. In the end all that matters is that you enjoy the power delivery and the overall experience.
