So a coworker of mine bought a Genesis Coupe over the weekend and today he was saying that he is sure it is faster then my M5 because of how heavy my luxo sedan has to be. So right before lunch time I ask him if he wants to go have a few runs. He decides that we should go from a dig first because he has TRACTION CONTROL!!! I inform him I have years of launching RWD cars and this is not a good idea but oh well.
Run#1 from a dig
0-90ish I had at least 6-7 cars

Ok so i am a nice guy and inform him that he should turn traction control off for a race, especially one from a dig.
Run#2 from a dig
0-90ish I had about 5-6 cars

So we decide to do one from a roll which is his best bet IMO.
Run#3 40mph roll on three beeps
40-120ish I was pulling buses

I was not sure what I was expecting the outcome to be. Whar are these supposed to run? Seemed to be maybe a low 14sec car? Maybe high 13s with a perfect driver.

His car was a 6-sp. In the cars defense i do not think this guy was very experienced in racing at all. What is the V6 one supposed to run?

i think low-mid 14s, kinda meh
i’m pretty sure the turbo2.0L is supposed to be a little quicker

I do heaters daily. Actually latley I have been working on controlled slides. :banghead:

BTW you should sell me your intakes and tune while the car is down. Or give them to me cause I am rad. Just sayin.

The 2.0T is definitely slower stock for stock, but has more potential.

the 3.8 runs low 14.0 stock and the 2.0t runs low 15’s…

HOWEVER with i/h/e the 3.8 makes 350-360WHP =)

I didn’t know they were selling 6-speed models already. I thought for some reason only 6cyl autos were available.
