I still haven’t gotten it to the track yet… but it has an AEM EMS in it now. Much more control now than the DSM Link!
I think we will put a front mount on it and go from there… I was avoiding the front mount because I was driving it in the winter and being so low- it packs in the snow, but I’ve come to realize this car is mega clean and I don’t think it will see another winter.
Slow progress, but I still drive it everyday and need to rely on it. I’m almost over 135k now! Love IT!
It’s been great! I actually got out in Genesseo and ran out… so I put $5 of 93 in it… and it was just fine
Nice to have the option if I need it, of course I didn’t go out ripping all of my 26 psi on regular gas, but it’s ok for normal driving.
I do love the car, but I really miss the 5 speed. I don’t know if it’s worth it to swap it, I know it’ll always be faster with the auto for drag, but I honestly drive it more than race it. Don’t know if I should sell it and just buy another evo, or keep it how she is and keep on putting on new parts… I do love shiny purple parts.
The car is worth more to me than anyone would pay for it though. It’s clean as hell and has black leather. Mega score in my book. I’ll never find another one.
just went to the races down in kentucky and there was a b16 with a turbo running e85.
he said he makes about 440hp.
he was only about a car behind my buddies 640hp sti, granit civic hb’s weigh 2200lbs…
E85 has a lot of potential. I hope the price of it stays low and they don’t get greedy. You’d think it would actually go DOWN later on as the companies start making their money back off the initial investment into producing it… but who knows.
