WELL, just got off the phone w/ pep boys. called to see if my pads came in. they did. however, the price was an error. so now they wont honor what i was told price wise…
they made me pre-pay for mine, which i’m glad they did. i would go into the store in person. if they quoted you on something, they should have to stick to it. if someone keeps telling you no, calmly ask for thier manager, if they say no, say you want to talk to thier manager until someone gives in even if you have to start calling regional managers. someone will eventually not want a complaint getting over thier head. i’m a service manager at flynn’s and if one of my guys quotes something wrong, we sell it for that price, just eat it and move on(after i have a few words with whoever screwed up :rant: ).
