yup, you are impressionable for sure. you just go with what everyone else says… 1998 GST, 144k, 5 speed “new” head… do a compression check, check the timing on it, make sure all gears work without grinding, make sure the engine runs smooth. look for any signs of wiring issues… DSM’s can destroy your bank account. 1500 for that sounds suspect to be honest.

ok i found this guy selling this eclipse gst turbo for 2 grand he just got the new eclipse becasue the timming belt broke on the gst and sent it in for a new head and after ended up getting a new eclipse i lowerd him to 1500 i test drove it nothing wrong no smoke shifts fine just has 144,000 miles on it

i really want a gst eclipse or at least a car already turbo i only have 4500 cash so if you no anyone i thought with a new head on it it helps the car and i thought i could put a new engine in it or buy the parts i need to keep it running…

someone told me about a red 1992 GS-R DA Intergra for sale off exit 10 of i87? i didnt go to check it out myself, but thats a pretty rare car, decently fast, easily modded, and they were asking 3500obo.

i think a gst runnig right (uncommon) would beat a gsr w/ cams, and is more easily modified. But then again, they blow up and gsr’s are pretty damn reiable. so pick your poison.
