the teg ripps top end
because the stock T25 turbo on the 2g SUCKS. a 1g with exhaust and a boost controller set at 15psi would rape that GSR all over the road… and if you think a cammed GSR “rips top end” you need to get a ride in a fast car.
its no speed demon, but for what it is, its pretty quick top end.

Take some body with you who knows what to look for. If you nothing about these cars dont even touch it. As far as a gsr with cams beating a gst…sure if its a stock t25 but thats apples and oranges. Run one with just a 16g and minor mods and adios gsr. If you know what your doing the car will last. My buddies from ct ran the same engine for 3 years and the car has seen multiple 10 second and 9 second passes at well over 145 mph
The DSM gets a horrid rap. To be honest, it’s a FANTASTIC platform. Unfortunately, this is 2008 not 1998 and the cars are cheap enough for younger owners to abuse the shit out of them.
If you don’t know DSM or need to make this thread (Yes, you), then it’s not for you. That’s all I will say.
