Hey guys, well I’m currently looking at “down sizing” my fleet & just having a truck instead of the TDI & my Sierra & I’ve been shopping around & really the only thing I like that’s out right now is the ecoboost f150. So I wanna see if anyone has had any experience with these yet. What people who own them think of them before I go buying 1.

Just wait till the new gmc or Chevy comes out the new motors put out more power and have better mpg than all of them including the Ecoboost
guy i work with has an extended cab , loaded up one and gets about 20-21 with it . He loves it as he came from an 06 f150 ec 5.4 .
If it was me id buy a used diesel and intake , tune and exhaust and do 20 or just over and be much faster .
2 of my buddies have 150 ecoboost 4 doors. they both get 17avg mpg. not bad for a truck. expesive trucks tho, they both lease at 420/mo

I was debating getting a used diesel but part of me wants to go brand new & be the only 1 maintaining it. I got the TDI certified & it’s been awesome (knock on wood) but I only got that used b/c I wasn’t really a fan of the mk6 back when I got mine. Buying a new diesel is just something I can’t do.

Cummins is awesome but the rest of the truck blows even though I think the new Rams are the best looking new trucks. I still don’t like the '09+ f150’s.
Having a diesel truck now, after driving just about every other platform of vehicle out there over the years (from NA FWD 2 door all the way to lifted gas SUV and everything in between) I will say that NOTHING has given me the overall driving satisfaction of a DD as my Mega Cab does. 20+ MPG, enough room to haul around all the hot bitches I could ever pull (or 3 real fat ones), and enough grunt and go to pull a house off it’s foundation or outrun unsuspecting mustangs on the highway. I say fuck buying anything with a gas engine if you want a truck.

no they come in internationals, and other big trucks aswell…
technicality there. No other pickups have a Cummins diesel.
Look at CPO 2010+ cummins trucks with the 6spd manual In it… I want a white 3500 SRW, crew cab, 8ft box, and manual 
New 2014 GMC/Chevy 5.3’s have better MPG ratings than Fords Ecojoke.
