sun chips for me. i can’t see a downside to this.
legalizing marijuana in an “over the counter” sense would do wonders for this economy.
still wouldnt buy any
I never understood people who’s only reason to not do it is because it’s illegal.
so is speeding, but you do that all the time…
i speed because i like the feeling of going fast
i dont smoke weed because i dont want to be a complete retard and do nothing but laugh at everything for no reason at all and go to sleep 43 minutes after smoking
it has nothing to do with being illegal, i drink and its illegal (i know, im fuckin BA)
Yeah and so is rape and murder… wait, where was I going with this…
I wasn’t really referring to you.
IDK.
I’m def not the most law abiding citizen, but I honestly see NOTHING wrong with smoking weed.
lol i know i re-edited my post
i saw where u were going and responded wrong. :picard: to me lol
i dont really know the point of having weed illegal, drinking is legal, smoking cigarettes is legal, chew is legal, and i would say weed is probably the healthiest of all of these, and the side effects arent as bad as drinking. just as a glass of wine a day is supposedly good for you, i see nothing wrong with a joint a day lol. as long as its moderately smoked
maybe the only thing would be 'being baked in public" sort of like being drunk in public, and DUI, they need some of test i would suppose as they do the breathalizer
The blind leading the blind
CHH" we have a 5-10b some guy is walking down allen st with an ice cream cone in one hand and a hot dog in the other hand, looking at all the trees…we’re going to bring him in…over"chh
-cop
there is a whole bunch of :picard: in this thread.
but I am for taxing it. I’m a firm believer that the reason any of it is outlawed is a mixture of not knowing how to regulate and tax it, and too many people in power are making too much money off of it being illegal.
oh, and I havent smoked since 02.
I’d imagine that upon legalization, most companies that drug test will continue to do so long after. Would they even be allowed to, though?
Either way, this should have happened a long time ago. There are many other problems that can be dealt with once all the time and effort into stopping weed is funneled away. And my god, not to mention the taxes…
people would still buy from their dealers 95% of the time
Yeah because after prohibition we still got booze from the mafia. Maybe in the super short term that’s accurate but it’s a retarded thing to say.
And I don’t get the big deal about weed? It’s just an appetite increaser that happens to make you awesome at first person shooters.
Why?
People don’t go and make liquor and sell it…People don’t grow their own tobacco.
I’ll tell you this, if weed becomes legal on the federal level. That’s a business I can see myself getting into. Not to smoke it, but because of the immediate potential for a growing market.
I actually don’t smoke anymore.
Okay Mr. Slow(s)
Lets give a little example here.
Cigarettes at the Res are cheaper than cigarettes at the gas station
Why?
Because there are no taxes
Why would weed be cheaper from a dealer?
Because there are no taxes.
and getting ahold of your dealer is easier than driving out to the res
i really dont think so, unless there’s some major bond going on… I think most “dealers” would end up losing most of their sales. I mean, you could go to a gas station, fill up your tank, buy a bag of doritos, a gatoraid, and a pack of joints all in one stop… the convenience factor is boggling.
in other news, states which still enforce are now talking of eliminating the no sales of alcohol on sundays law.
I think what’s REALLY happening here is that the entire country is really depressed about stuff and just wants to get messed up however and whenever they want. yep.
I can see it now,
I heard the idea of requiring a license to drink and smoke cigs, but more for the drinking.
They say that kids should be required to take a class about the effects of drinking and smoking and giving them the option to do it legally. Then when it gets out of hand, or something happens, they can properly place the blame on them.
