When is the last time you met a drug dealer? For the most part, walking to the convenience store is a hell of a lot more convenient than getting a hold of your dealer.
I think the problem will come from people growing it on their own.

Not a terrible idea, but in sue-happy America it won’t do anything.
And shit, think about some of the retards that pass the drivers test and get a license. EEEEEK.
That is circumventing tax…
They don’t grow tobacco and manufacture the cigarettes there…
Not to mention if the government was losing tax money on weed…they would stomp dealers…
Manufacturing/growing on a large scale vs some small time drug dealer growing in his basement…
i know about 4 dealers lol, and its really easy.
lol @ bonding with the dealer; pineapple express
i would agree its more convienent, but half the people who smoke that i know are also poor so they wouldnt be filling up their gas tanks n buying food n weed all in the same stop lol.
plus the factor of lacing will come into play
Most of the people I know who smoke, are actually very responsible people and happen to be working full time jobs with college degrees. The market reaches further than you know. There is a lot going on outside of high school.
you guys are missing a HEALTHY point.
The cost of weed and other drugs are what they are due to both supply and demand, along with the risk involved.
if its legalized and taxed, the risk is nil.
If buying from a dealer was not only illegal, but also a lot more expensive than buying from the legal, cheaper authorized place down the street, what do you think people will do?
edit: my point being, no one would buy from a dealer.
and if/when this becomes legal, I will be first in line to distro.
That’s what I’m talking about. Business partners? lol
Yep. right along side all those ginormous tobacco fields would be equally as large marijuana fields, which would make sure there wouldn’t ever be an issue of supply.
The huge amount of marijuana the government would grow would easily keep the prices WAY lower than buying it from a dealer currently, even if the taxes were ridiculously high.
Take a $5 pack of cigarettes, empty all the tobacco into a baggie and compare that to the same amount of pot, and compare prices.
When legality is removed, I really don’t think there would be much of a difference in growing tobacco as compared to pot, therefore not much of a difference in price.
Meh, just a guess though.
true, you’re right. the government probably would run the dealers out of business, good call lol.
but then more people would need jobs
P.S Paulo im not in highschool
could’ve fooled me.
:fry:
its okay i was 17 and in college lol

…ahh fuck too late.
I think, as far as taboo political debates go, this is one of nyspeeds more civil ones.
Oh i know. It just comes up every couple of months or so, and I am sick of reading so much ignorance and misconception.
That being said, I agree strongly with Paulo’s viewpoints on this.
government weed would suck ass and never compare to people like Arjan and the GHSCrew
doubtful.
no one is saying it would need to be a government run company. Tabacco companies are private. there would be a healthy amount of regulation and taxation though.
and paulo, sounds good
the smart drug dealers would open convenient stores and flower shops
I’d invest in Philip Morris.
Putting US science behind this, with private companies free to invest as much as they want in R&D without fear of their facilities being raided and destroyed, would make the most incredible shit we’ve seen thus far. Hell, look what they did for fruits and vegetables.
