I had afr185’s on my car, and I was in on the same deal as choda. After tons of research and looking at actual combos, I decided that I needed to upgrade, and I got the vic jr’s. Side by side, the as cast vic jr has bigger intake and exhaust ports, and matches more to the cnc ported afr 205. I also saved almost $500 going from the afr to the edelbrock. The car hasn’t run run yet on the new setup, but I plan on it being out this spring. Not like last year’s disaster. That deal on mom’s is pretty good. You can find tons of good used parts, just shop around.
Id like to see 12s this year, For now I might end up with the trick flow kit.

So that puts you over 1,000… You might be right about me winning because you can’t hook. You drive that on the street? I don’t think I’d bother with more than 650-700 for a street car for anything other than bragging rights.
