Ran awesome weeks ago, now it doesn’t
-spark one side, not the other
-then no spark
-replaced pickup coil, original one failed ohm test
-now back to one side with spark, pickup coil in spec
-swapped coils around and they both work but only on front coil harness, so the coils are good
-both coils have 12v going to them on each leg

So my question is, if the coils are good and pickup is good than only thing left bad is CDI box. However both coils have 12v going to them, so that’s where I’m stumped. CDI is 300-400, so I’d rather not waste the money. From what I’ve read is you can’t test the CDI box? Anyone know other wise?

CDI boxes are a pisser. Lots of odd issues come up and its the CDI. My ducati ran fine when I took it apart and put the CDI on the shelf. put it all back together and had lots of odd shit going on. sprang for another $250 box, plugged it in and ran perfectly. no idea what happened to it.

try to find someone and swap the box maybe.
