Elise short throw shifter i designed (stole) and prototyped...

NEWMAN IS CHINESE!!!

:roflpicard:

What’s so funny about that?

There is an entire genre of engineer known as reverse engineering solely for this purpose. Companies spend millions on their R&D work.

If you can’t see the difference in taking a design, improving it, and using it for a different application vs taking a design, making it cheaper and selling it to do the same thing you are a moron.

I saw the title and knew you were going to do this

Did you use SolidWorks?

Looks nice…

Autodesk inventor.

cool, looks a lot shorter

Can you make an animation of 1-2 stock vs the short throw?

Here’s an animation i made for the dude:

give me the CAD file, i’ll get it quoted.

it a TARP! j/k…

Nice work!!!

You should build a few of these. I know a few people in the area that would buy them…

How much does something like that cost?

$350

The only tricky part would be the rubber thingy. Where can they be purchased?

I’m sure someone could make/fab one up. I bet you have plenty of connections to get it done… lol

Eh, i couldn’t beat 350 bucks by an amount that would make it worth my time.

I could make it from one piece rather than three.:pimp:

I hear you… Would it be worth your time to make a short throw shifter like Nuespeed? $229

Really!!!
