Hey guys i failed my emmisions test today and i wanted to know if anyone has had the same reading and if the have rectofied passed and how.
Here are my readings
Ok
ASM 2525
HC ppm Limit=60 Reading=32 PASS
CO% Limit=0.33 Reading=0.05 PASS
NO ppm Limit=450 Reading=682 FAIL:C
RPM 2409
Dilution 14.3
Curb Idle
Hc ppm Limit=150 R=66
CO% L=0.70 R=0.17
RPM 691
Dilution 13.5
My car is a 1999 Nissan Maxima.
no one has ever had an emmisions test in toronto?

NO is nitrous oxide, but why it is high is beyond my knowledge. I know without my main cat when I was on the dyno that number was well over 4000 for me.
just get another test and dont press the gas too hard. or if you have a super chip remove it and put the stock one back.
my etest is fake, and probably 60-75% of everyone elses on here…

what over high combustion temps?
get sa cooling system flush and pull the thermostat out too.
then put some gas line antifreeze in the tank.
it’ll burn cooler but not pooch the test but…it may convert some Nox to Cox’s
(thats carbonic oxides you perverts) some of the Cox’s aren’t even tested for

I changed the Cat and passed with flying colors

To change the cat only cost me $200 taxes in and install included at Zoro in mississauga.
To get a fake pass would have been $250.
I spent $250 but i have a new cat.
