A friend of mine bought a 1968 Mustang on ebay. He had it shipped by Empire Auto Transportation. During shipping, the trailer leaked hydraulic fluid or brake fluid which got all over his car. Showroom paint pretty much got owned. Anyway, to make a long story short, he went to Syracuse and filed in small claims court against the guy. We went up there, and my friend won to the tune of 4200$. His only chance of getting the money is with the U.S. Marshalls according to the Syracuse court. However, the courts said we need to find out where he banks before going to file paperwork with the Marshalls. Anyone know of how we would go about this, or if it’s even necessary? Any info would be appreciated.
Dam that sucks. sounds like a headache. I never had any experience with that shit though.
