Here are some pictures from last night, i got the car towed to my buddy’s garage, then prepped and dropped the engine and tranny back in. I installed new braided turbo lines, new clutch slave, throwout bearing, and a couple other things. Now i just gotta hook everyhting up, install the new exhaust, fill up the fluids and i should be good to go.
Hopefully I will have everything connected and ready to go before i leave this week for Edmonton.

that would be rad for sure. I have 4 days to finish it, and i dont think i will have enough time, i have soooo much shit to do. and to make things worse, the car is out at my buddies, about a 25 minute drive from home, and i need to get it here so i can work on it all day and night
may i ask what happened? it seems there are like 4 of us droppin trannys with issues these last few days :sad
sure dude. I had the car parked for the winter, last november, then come march/april-ish it was time to get the car out and started and tuned up, but for before i had noticed most of my oil drained out, i tried and tried and tried to start up the car, but because there was no oil, the exhaust cam seized, and ended up breaking right off at the camgear. So the head was messed, and the hunt was on for a new one. once the head was off, i figured i would go a little further, pull the block, clean it up, new gaskets all over the place, then cleaned up and painted the engine bay, as well as reinforced the frame/wheel well and strut towers up front. With everything off, it was easy to do the changes and upgrades, and to reassemble the engine.
oh, and I later tracked down the problem, i took off the oil filter housing, and the 2 gaskets that were in there seemed to be crap, so i replaced those, so everything should be good to go now
