I have a 92 S13. It’s been sitting for a week due to a cracked power steering line. Finally got it in, replaced it, took the car for a spin and now my engine is cutting out. When I’m accelerating everything is fine. When I cruise at one speed (60, 80, 100) the engine bogs. I pressed the gas down alittle and nothing. It’s only when I put the pedal to the floor it kicks in again and takes off.
I took it for another run today. It was fine for about 10 kms at 90 km/h.Then started to act up again. It’s doing it at all speeds 100 - 40km/h. what happens for example is, cruising at 60 and the engine bogs down. Real bad cut in power. The car starts to spit and sputter and the gas pedal becomes heavy. I have about a half inch of play in the pedal where it feels like this. Then when I put it down over that the car takes off again accelerating. It’s fine accelerating takes right off no problem. Just when I level it back off it starts to act up again. Any help would be appreciated.
sounds like the potential to be a TPS issue.

dead pedal issue. voltage sweep test
Changed the TPS and it’s still doing the same thing. Also changed fuel filter but it wasn’t that either.
I had the exact same problem it came up at the Bings meet on the way home then went away. I took it to Nissan and they ran it on the computer they said everything was perfect but they did say the MAF Sensor was giving the correct signal but a lower voltage then stock. So First thing grab a new MAF Sensor from a wrecker and see if that fixes it. its easy and cheep if you have a KA. and PM me if it works for you because if not then e are both in the same boat.
To help out a bit its not the Fuel filter, or spark plugs. cos all of mine are bran new.
Figured it out and the car runs like a champ again. Turns out I’m a idiot, and it was a spark plug wire.
Thanks for all the help guys
