I have a used engine block that needs cleaned/washed and checked for imperfections.
What is a ballpark figure to expect.
The engine is tore apart, i just need the block done. Cast iron V6
Also, any good places to take it to (west of the city)

$100 labor to clean block, install freeze plugs, and cam bearings
$70 for deck leveling, honing, magnaflux, & bore check.
I also got a quote from PGH Crankshaft
$66 to clean the block
$50 to install freeze plugs & cam bearings (plus cost of parts)
I asked about deck leveling and magnafluxing and checking bores.
he said “yeah, yeah, we’ll do all that for ya”.
so not really sure if thats included or not.
