I am having a terrible time this year. My dad just had surgery and will be recovering in the the hospital through Christmas. My mom was supposed to visit him last night, but she got stuck at work late. I went to her house to let the dogs out and I found one of her 2 dogs unresponsive on the floor in the living room.
I took her to the animal hospital and she was put down. She had an infection in her uterus that reacted very quickly. Apparently at that time my dad was in real pain and they gave him some meds for it and he had a reaction that caused really bad nightmares and he hasn’t slept at all.
Please say a prayer for us this Christmas. It’s a really tough time for us this year. I hope you enjoy the time with your family you have because sometime you may not be able to.
Man that sucks. I know how that goes…my Grandma on my moms side died from that. I am afraid that my mom is next with it…it tends to run through the family.
I know im going to. Im off to the bills game to cook venison steaks and my work gave me box seats. There’s a little bit of moonshine too, should be a good day.
This stuff always seems to happen at the worst times. I wish you guys the best. A few years ago my dad spent Christmas in the hospital recovering from his first of four open heart surgeries.
Sorry to hear about all the bad times fellas. I’m not a praying or religious type but I do hope that positive things will start happening for yall.

I had it on thanksgiving… Now I just have a cold. So I didn’t go see the family because they freak out that they’ll all get sick. So instead I sat home playing SWTOR
Christmas went pretty well considering the circumstances. I went to see my Dad and he is doing a lot better than expected. He should be home today if all goes well which is good news considering the condition he was in after the surgery.
