Damn I am going to have to one up you and do two GSXR motors + 4WD, lol.

BUMP. Get this fucking thing built already. Any luck sourcing a axle/carrier setup yet?

Yea got them already. Just awaiting the axle currently. I just love when you buy shit and the company just assumes you know it’s on back order.

been there tons of times. good customer support > anything else

haha thats sick !!

sick

this video will get you off your ass and get going on this project!!!

that thing is sweet as hell! You have it running yet? Where did you pick it up? I need one from my son!!

I have one i’d be willing to sell. Same exact one as Erics. Has no engine but,I will give you the snowmobile i was going to take the engine out of to put in it. Or you can buy the motor that came off of erics and put it on mine. 600 bucks. New they are 5k.

What the hell’s your problem, stick to the plan!

I didn’t post up for WTB: VW axels for my Honda :ninja

I haven’t touched this thing in hours, lol. Still need to work out the drive train. Plan to get a bunch of things done on it within a month or so. Actually looking up a bunch of shit for it right now.

Never gunna get done. :lol

still need the front end? I have a set of honda 450r a-arms no shocks though. U can have the arms if they will work

good idea^^

you need something from like a 450r, raptor, yfz etc…i believe the yfz has the longest arms out of all of them so it will give you a nice smooth ride, good articulation and will make it nice and stable

Word. If i come across some moneyayz I wanted to build a mini sand rail too, plans for YFZ arms and shocks are the way to go. The newer arms I think are +2’s stock and the shocks are compression high and low speed, rebound, preload adjustable.

Guys buy these machines all the time and go long travel suspension to race with. the stock stuff goes somewhat cheap. still around $500 I would say, but that is a good deal for great suspension.

for the rears you could run a banshee shock they come stock with a piggyback rez and 3 way adjustable, or you could run front YFZ shocks in the rear and just set the preload high to take the added weight of the engine

500 :excited Wish i got that. I cant even give these arms away haha. I did get 200 for my stock shocks after i went long travel. That will be the most expensive part

they are a fairly high demand part…stock they will fit warriors, they fit on raptors too, also they are high demand for people that do flat track (especially warrior owners)

Well you can give them away to me :thumbup I am sure they are what I have been looking for. I was planing to go with the raptor frotnend due to the arms being longer then the Banshee ones. But 450’s will work fine also. PM me when I can get them!

I am going with a dual arm setup in the rear using modified civic spindles (basically cut down to just a bearing housing) and axles. I have been looking at my Banshee and Underboosted’s Raptor to see what parts would be good to use.

Simular to this setup

Or utilize the lower ball joints and go this way.
