I’m not aiming for huge power, or even big power. Car came with 291/300 stock @ crank. I’m aiming for 330whp with simple bolt-ons and a tune (intake, exhaust, IC & piping, injectors). That’s perfectly streetable and makes the car way more fun.
I drove the car for like two weeks and was annoyed I couldn’t hear a damn thing (turbz, exhaust, intake, bov) nor feel the torque. So I changed a couple things.
I made the exterior a little bit different (black headlights, painted wheels, diff badging); nothing wrong with personalizing a car.
And now I (will) drive it and enjoy it until I get rid of it. Not going big on this thing…for both resale AND financial reasons
I like them. They also make them in piano black as well if you’re looking to go darker. I’m not sure on your lowering plans but you will have to roll the fenders on even a mild drop.
These are a nicer version of the color thats on my wheels now. I think it would look sharp with black taillights and the blacked out front emblem and headlights.
Tony, I know about the fender rolling. There is a guy on here who does it. I do plan a mild drop, something with a slightly stiffer than stock spring rate.
no idea , i saw it sitting by your trailer yesterday blocked by a car , so i couldn’t see if the drive shaft was hanging or not . So is it fixed. Simple yes or no .
OK cool. I just had Albany Speed Shop put on my Swift Sport Springs and RCK. It’s a conservative drop with about 1" front and 0.6" in the back. They got rid of the wheel gap and give the car a more aggressive stance without slamming it.
