that was a 35R stock bottom end car, who knows if the tune was crazy or not. probably had way too much timing at peak torque. that = bang if the rods arent up to the load

If I had an Evo X, I would not touch the suspension. You would be dumb to do so (WHICH YOU ARE) unless you had multiple years of professional racing under your belt and actually knew what you we doing (WHICH YOU DON’T, AT ALL). It pulls 1.0g on the skidpad COMPLETELY STOCK!!! Why fuck with that?

I don’t get why people buy these nice cars and then ruin them with cheap suspension mods/rimz/bullshit. Why not keep it STOCK appearing, and then tune it or do whatever you need to do to make it move on out. Nobody is impressed with your tailpipe or cheap aftermarket wheels. In fact, you just look like a retard who wants to fit in with the FnF crowd.

Then why do they make coilovers for it? Im thinkin either TeIn or HKS HyperMaxx not some cheap shit. And I may not do that. I may get the OEM BBS EvoMR wheels and put 255s on them. Im not that far yet.

Ernie there is more to suspension than swapping in coilovers especially with cars that are actually set up to perform from the factory.

Speaking of which, does anyone know what Mitsubishi means when they say my front struts are “inverted”?? They look exactly like normal struts and are mounted exactly the same. I cant understand

usually means the bottom of the strut does the dampening… there should be a rod coming out of the bottom that looks like the top of a normal strut
