look up WOT BOX. Most fun a $100 will ever get you!
2 step is like a revlimiter you can set for launching the car. It cuts spark and loads up the motor, which builds boost without moving. Also lets you adjust the RPM it bounces at to get launches consistant. So your not over reving/dumping/killing the clutch, and you are not bogging the launch. find where it is the happy medium and set it to that.
Clutch in, gas planted, Brattbangbangbang dump the clutch!
Hold in clutch
Hold in gas pedal (car will start limiting revs at 5500)
Start slipping clutch pedal out at a decent speed so you don’t roast the clutch.
-or-
(preloading)
Get to the line put in 1st
Keep letting off the clutch until you feel it grab
Once it grabs pull e-brake up
Hold the clutch at that point and rev to w.e you want to (5k)
When light turns green drop the ebrake
You can have your tuner up the rev limiter since 5500 can bog somewhat.
My point is that’s a horrible time to run with the car that he has and the mods. You have nothing to do with it so I don’t know why you are talking right now…
In stock trim it does 13.6…I ran 13.4 with intake and exhaust on my THIRD RUN EVER with the car…how is that a “horrible” time? Next time I go, with this new launch method, I’ll bet I can at least hit 13.2…being moderate
And there was a kid there who told me his buddy had an X with intake, catback and a tune and hit 12.4…not sure if its believeable…cuz we all know people talk.
Are the X’s really that heavy they go that slow? I ran a 13 flat at 105 with a reflash. Just trying to figure out how that’s possible you went slower than me with more power that’s all
The AWC controls the power delivery and is always on in some form, ASC uses the ABS system and power cut to keep the car stable. Pressing your AWC button once disables only the power cut. Holding it turns off the stability control completely, so you can do power slides without intervention from the ABS at all.
To turn it back on just simply hit the button again or when you restart the car it is automatically re-engaged.
Unless you’re at the track I would keep your cars all wheel drive system engaged. You can never turn everything completly off anyway you can merely tone the traction control systems down so you can throw the car around a bit.
