Went out for a... car.

(404 obligatory bag of milk not found)

Mitsubishi Evolution IX GSR, in a color you don’t often see in Evos, Electric Blue. Bone stock except for an Exedy twin-disc clutch and an intake. Decided that my old Legacy just wasn’t cutting the mustard for me anymore (it’ll be FS: soon).

Got it home last night from Ohio, there is zero corrosion on the underbody. Paint is immaculate, interior is in 9/10 shape. Kinda loving this thing, it’s got bawls. Highway passing in top gear is just point-and-squirt.

Cam phone on lowest settings, apologies for quality.

All set in the new home

The color really pops, it’s gorgeous

Still in love the styling on this car, especially in Special trim

Special thanks to Sansone, psphinx, and EvoMR for your insight, gentlemen.:tup:

Parting shot:

Enjoy!

Love the color. I expected the pics to be an actual bag of milk from Canadia.

Yes!!! You’ve been hinting at this for quite a while now, great to see it all came through:)

Congrats man, that is one of the nicer Evo colors. You will enjoy it, these cars are a blast!

I can’t believe this hasn’t been done yet, to be completely honest with you. :stuck_out_tongue:

Quite the interesting collection! What are your plans for it?

DO WANT!!! Seriously though, I am really considering picking up one of these Evo’s a year from now for a DD. Great color, you will definitely enjoy that.

Great color choice.

Looking killer

Nice pickup! I love the color. I tend to only see silver/gray ones around here.

Looks amazing. That’s one eccentric mix of cars you got there…great p/u…

Swap the turbo 4 into the fastback and the big block into the Evo. You could get more sackriders and haters than newman.

glad i could help

i have TONS of stock stuff, if you ever need anything let me know

I think my head would implode. It would probably make the 'Stang faster, and I’d have to drive the Evo from the backseat :stuck_out_tongue:

Car’s going to stay nice and stock, timing belt and snow tires are in her future. Going to just maintain and enjoy - the '68 is where any automotive-upgrade money’s going. And even that is playing second fiddle to house investments, right now.

Thanks again for your take! I will do!

I wonder what it had done to it before it was sold to you? Nobody puts in a $2k clutch on a stock power car.

How long do you think this will really last^ LOL

Till the day he realizes the pull doesn’t feel as extreme as the test drive…

very nice cars!

It has taken 10 years, but the style of the 300m has grown on me, I love your mustang and oh yeah, The evo is a pretty solid pickup.

Good pick up!

Let me know when you’re ready to do a cam swap. I have the valve spring tool and everything.

Also, Elma automotive is a baller place to get your timing belt done. Pat really knows his shit, he did my car for a fair price and had a quick turn around time. His shop is pretty local too.

A lot of people do that. EVOm pretty much has standardized the twin disk clutch upgrade to the masses.
