OMG my new best friend!!

Okay, got it all back together. But not too happy about the way it came out. As you can see, the wheels are WAY nicer than the car. And they present a problem. When (not if) I get the coilovers (going with GODSPEED - if anyone knows anything bad about this company please let me know now), I cannot drop the car more than a half inch or so because there is only 1.8" of wheel well space now, and the tire WILL hit the lip of the wheel well if it’s too close. That’s how wide they are (235/40ZR18).

The bumper didn’t go back on properly (but that can be fixed). Still wants to overheat… HKS SSQV is insanely loud. Almost too loud, it seems, for the amount of power I have. I fixed the Carrier Bearing bolt issue too. My traction woes have disappeared for now. ;D

Anyone have an Autometer ProComp Ultralite Water Temp gauge they would be willing to part with?

And I have (after talking to multiple people who all say the same thing) realized that I am not running lean. Au contraire, it is way too rich. That is why the car stumbles on it’s ass at 3/4 throttle or higher unless it’s been running for a half hour. I am told to get a “Fuel Defense Cut Off”. What is a Fuel Defense Cut Off, where do I get one/how do I do it and who wants to help??

And Seamus, you really need to give me a briefing on this car, start to finish. I am in the dark about so many things here. If I knew what happened then I could solve the problems. Maybe.

yesssssss it was. i was at his house when he was wiring it up. he may be goofy and slow but he did a good job i dont what happened after that. the car ran perfect. he even had a speed signal. i dunno what he did or when you saw it but it was all good. :confused

The wheels do look better on the car, still not the size I would have went with. I actually saw it when i went by your house today trying to charge the battery on the se-r

I got a Autometer Phantom water temp gauge with the nisport adapter and a crap advanced auto temp gauge, and maybe an advance auto phaze temp gauge. Take your pick.

I’ll look for the R33 mounts tomorrow, I was busy installing my VLSD today.

Also, most 240 owners that have 18’s have to do a slight fender roll/pull if they want to drop the car.

Well Drew must of did something…because Cliff(I think it was Cliff) and I were at Tacobell and saw Drew fly up 30…and it sounded like shiiiitttt. It was loud as hell…barelly running…and didn’t have the bov recirculating cuz we heard it 1/4 mile away. The day Scotty baught it…there were a handful of problems. I know Don and Scotty had their share of mess ups with it…but they didn’t rip it apart for no reason. shrug

Shit man, I can’t find those R33 mounts, I looked around for a couple hours today and no luck. They must of been tossed out, don’t know why though…

Anyway, I DO know where the gauges are if your interested.

Now now, Jeremiah/Seamus…simma simma. The car was JUNK when I got it and that’s all that matters. I’m sure as soon as the swap was done, and Drew was driving around that it WAS running like shit. THEN he got it all nice THEN came Don & Scotty. Scotty had bigger plans for this car than his pockets would allow, that much I know. Don may not be the best with cars, but he has no reason to lie to me. Scotty got these weird ideas and STARTED to implement them…but never finished and Don wasn’t about to work on someone else’s car for free. Cant fault him for that, either.

As for the mounts, don’t sweat it. Thanks for the gauges but none of them work with the ones I already have. But yeah we’ll deff talk RB. I’m thinkin RB’s…lol

Seamus, are those the STOCK, UNMODIFIED R32 mounts? If so, then I’ll find Polyurethane ones to replace them.

Roll your fenders silly. maybe even a slight pull. You can stuff some huge meats in those wheel wells. You could probly even fit my rear wheels under there with a little work. For example:

Insane fitment… but IMO that is one ugly gap between the tire and edge of the rim… tire stretch FTL. But that’s IMO.

It must be fun trying to bead a tire that is almost 3" too narrow for the rim. I mounted many tires. If you asked me to mount that I would :crackup.
It looks badass tho

how can you guys say this is a good fitment? Look at the fender! It’s all dented and messed up from being pulled and rolled. Looks like complete shit.
