Most of the people with flood damage won’t be covered by insurers.

I figured it was well known that homeowners doesnt cover flood.

flood insurance is $$$$ too, so unless youre right on the river, alot of people skip it

And a lot of people will regret it/be pissed about it.

Recently caught a glimpse of a news piece where a lady was freaking out on insurance saying shes lived in the house for 55 years and always paid insurance with no claims and then another guy coming in and saying “that it’s your job to cover us” :facepalm

Hindsight is always 20/20 :dunno

Well looks like I’m definitely going to be taking the long routes to work for quite some time. Just confirmed that a good portion of r103 washed out at lock 9 and the the tressel is badly damaged(not the actual dam)

fixed for ya.

Makes it sound less sensational that way.

Practicing now for the you know what :lol

They will…when you can convince public employee unions to stop pilfering off society… so theres money left for infrastructure

CAN WE FIX THAT DAM? FUCK

Flood insurance isn’t cheap if you’re near the river. And there’s a reason for that.
