well pop is a verb “to pop”, a sound or something you call you dad, not a drink
calling it what it is (“coke”, “sprite”, “pepsi” etc…) > soda > pop
in general i call it soda unless i’m ordering it at a resturant then i say what it is…coke, sprite, etc…
