That’s my deal…
I currently have a 2002 Silver (stock) Honda S2000 and a 1992 Galant VR4 (754/1000 total).
I love both cars… BUT
I am thinking about getting rid of both for an Evo 9.
ugh
I’m so torn.
Both cars would cover the price of an Evo
UGH… decisions decisions…
What would you do?

hmm…well, i take it that the evo would be your only car then? i wouldn’t be too fond of driving a brand new car in nyc traffic… but thats just me

that is really a tough choice. are you gonna miss crusin in the summer with the top down??
I would get the EVO 9 cuz i am very tall and look silly in convertables
I personaly like the S2K more than any EVO.
It all depends on what you want to do with the car(s).
bah, driving a vert on warm summer nights > having an ugly sedan (which you already have :P)
Keep both cars, it’s nice to have a vehicle to fall back on. Even though the EVO is sweet, between the two existing cars you have, you are better off.
S2000, nice car to drive, and you could make it look really pimp, it has a nice interior (nicer than EVO) and it’s definitely fun-to-drive.
VR4, rare, easy to mod, and you can make it pretty fast. (so fun to beat the crap out of and not care)
You’ve got it all covered there, I don’t see a need for the EVO, unless you’d keep one of the cars and have the EVO be it’s upgrade.

I was going to do the same thing but it’s just not economically feasible. I am a hair away from paying my GSX off and I really don’t want another large car payment so I am biting the bullet and passing on an Evo 9… Be smart, be patient.
Cars would stay stock (stook would get a front lip, as would the evo, that’s it)
but the Galant is obviously not stock right now, and would probably get a couple more grand of mods into it (not maintanence)
It’s still real nice to have 2 cars. You can do what you want but I think you’d be better off right now with sticking it out with your current setup.
If I sold both cars I would actually be shrinking whatever money I owe now on the s2000 down by about 5 K…
But then again i really do love the galant.
Keep the Galant and the S2000. If you sold both for the Evo, I’m sure you would regret it down the road.

I love my IX, but if I were you I would definitely keep your current setup with one nice summer car and one car to be able to mod and screw around with.
If its gonna stay stock i would keep what you have. The evo 9 is sweet but its begging to be modded, if you leave that care 100% stock its not going to be any fun.

Wow, very different car choices. You’ve got to decide what you want in a car. I personally would keep the S2000 because, as mentioned, a cool vert on a warm summer night >>*. The only problem is that then your 2 vehicles are a small roadster and a quirky old turbo car. (I’m assuming the VR4 isn’t DD reliable/useful, but I don’t know anything about it so you’ll have to fill in your own knowledge there.) You could have a fast reliable 4-door sedan instead.
Is roadster cool + unique toy > fast sedan? :gotme:
evo will get you 4 door and a fun car to drive all the time
the st00k is pimp and works well in the summer
the galant - its your project car… but you have to get into somethig reliable.
