I was wondering if anyone knew where I would be able to get the exhaust bending charts online???
The main reason for needing it now is to but 3 inch exhaust on my summer car and can not seem to find anything online at the moment.
I’m not quite sure what you’re asking for. Are you looking for an exhaust diagram so you can mirror the bends when you make the 3" exhaust? What car is this for?
i don’t think you are going to be able to find a blueprint for exhaust systems. you just have to buy a bunch of material and build it.
My exhaust guy has 5 boxes of exhaust bending charts (tells you when to bend and how much to bend)
But he only has exhaust charts for 1994 and older and I need exhaust bend up for a 2003 pontiac sunfire
I don’t have the stock exhaust anymore to mock it up to as I already had 3 inch on it but in the fall I was
going down the Hamilton mountian and someone let a hydlaulic cylinder fall off there ruck and it went
under my car and crumpled my exhaust all to shit.
(100lb cylinder does lots of damage to a car lowered 2 1/2 - 3 inches)
Basically I am seeing if anyone knows where to get online or even has newer exhaust charts.
i think it may just be cheaper to buy a new sunfire … no?
LOL just kdding , but seriously, if your exhaust guy is any good he should have no problems at all builting you one with out a blue print … seiously man, are you gonna need a 3 inch exhaust? are you planning on going turbo ? if not then 3" is way too big for n/a unless ur built and have tons of n/a work … your gonna lose power . why do you not just buy a magnaflow or something of the sort? there very cheap .
What hector said. You wont have enough back pressure if you put a 3 inch. Not to mention modding a sunfire is… ahhhhh to each there own
LOL… I hear it all the time why a sunfire LOL…
the car is fully built (built to handle 650hp) and with a nice sized turbo for lots of boost. (Turbo good till around 650hp as well)
the car is currently running 17psi of boost daily and makes tons of power.
He is awsome with exhaust it is just I don’t want to take the car to him as I would like to install it on my own hoist and what not.
I just want him to pre-bend it up for me so I can do the rest myself and other things while under there.
P.S. I got this car basically new before even stepping foot into a 240sx or rear wheel drive car.
