There is a ratteling noise coming from my exhaust just after i shift or in very low rpm’s for the first 3 gears.
Headers hiflo cat and cat back were installed less than 2 years ago.
It’s probably vibrating on something underneath your car. I’m a genius. It’s not a big deal.
get it in the air and check for rubbing…was there a heat shield on that high-flow cat

yes there is a heat shield on the cat, i checked under the car it is not rubbing any where, it sounds like it’s coming from the hiflow cat itself

could part of the pipe have rusted off on the inside and is trapped inside the cat?
One thing I’ve learned is to check the simplest first, then start worrying. Once you rule out your heat shield is solid check back.
I can’t believe nobody’s suggested spun muffler bearings yet. :ham:
Just get under the car and start wiggling things until you find something loose hitting another hard part, start with the cat and any heat shield at the cat.
