NO!

Check out www.dezod.com for some GOOD turbo setups with local support. I am going with them, with a couple minor tweaks to their Stage 1 kit… BB turbo and AEM Management. Talk to Paul, he is on here and Scionlife.

Thanks man. We can build whatever you want as far as turbo specs for the tC.

What’s up Jayzone?!?!?

What’s goin on man, you seem to be doing well w/ the Scions :pimp:

too further add to Mr Toda Party…the weigh deferences will be in the muffler itself and whether or not the midpipe is resonated…to be honest aftermarket catbacks on a lightly modified NA car are all about sound and in this case my opinion is the SP2 sounds better than the EVO exhaust…but thats me i dont like loud pipes…go figure my car is loud and annoying…the SP2 will sound a tad louder than stock at idle and a bit louder whne ur on the gas…its stupid quiet

Yeah doin well. I can’t complain. :pimp:

So where you livin? Downstate I presume?

I have a greddy evo 2 on my evo8 and I am very happy with it. If you want to hear it let me know…

Plus side = nice cruising sound, no droning, loud when your on it. Sounds good.

Fitment = perfect (evo 2 the most of the muffler is on the top, hence it does not look like an aftermarket exhaust or a ricey muffler).

Down side = most greddys neck down about 1/4 before the cat. (well at least on the evo’s it does). But this neck down is very minimal. I measured 2 3/4" ID at the neck down and the remaining is 3". Just some of my experience with greddy. Overall I like it. It works well for my needs. I cant have a loud exhaust cause of customers/clients.

Jeller

:word:

I have a Greddy Power Extreme (the precursor to the EVO2 for the turbo cars), and love it for the same reasons. No droning, aggressive tone when you floor it, nice cruising sound (without being loud), and the purr at idle is a thing of beauty. It is by far the best exhaust I’ve ever heard on a 4 or 6 cylinder car.

I had Hybrid chop of my 1/4 neck and hook up 3" piping straight through to eliminate the bottleneck.

Greddy as a company designs some good product in certain areas, but I will admit there custsomer sales and tech support seem to be a bit lacking.

guys…he drives a scion, not a turbo DSM

Coo Coo

Anyway, to the original poster, I have heard several exhausts on the tC, and unless you are packing it with Intake and header with some tuning, gains have been miminal from just an exhaust. I had a customer do an I/H/E and tune picking up 12whp on a piggyback.

BUT!!! I have also been involved with a I/H/E/P & head work with a standalone and made over 50whp gains on the tC. :eekdance:
