woww synapse said around 600…
Me and my little bro are the only ones who have Inline Hats…where do you work?
Wow inline is got the killer price… I’d tell ya Synapse but damn can’t beat inlines $200
why do you need such a big dia. exhaust for such a small motor?.. what kind of power are you looking for with the car? 2 1/2 is good up to around 300hp. unless your making atleast 200 hp, a 2 1/4 might be better off for you
Go 4 inch.
What? :rofl
fixed it for ya… i showed were corrections were made so you can find the other mis-spellings
I didnt mean your misspellings, I’m getting used to that. I meant its ridiculous to correlate exhaust diameter to horsepower.
is that not somewhat true tho? like, if you too big on an n/a motor, wont that actually hinder performance because i heard they need some back pressure, or is that just all fluff?
So what you’re saying is
150hp motor should have a 1.5" exhaust
200hp motor should have a 1.75" exhaust
400hp motor should have a 3" exhaust
600hp motor should have a 4" exhaust
800hp motor should have a 6" exhaust
1200hp motor should have a drainage culvert for an exhaust
Thank god there are no other variables that would complicate this spreadsheet! :rofl
so the m3 has a drainage culvert?:lol
O crap, my car has a 3.75" oval! WTF category do I fall in? My car makes x/0^e^(-1) horsepowers!
yea, i was leanin a lil towards synapse until i got my quotes, deff gonna go to inline…he said he actually had a guy in there w/ a geo storm that was going to be turboed…but he changed his mind…
i work at wings over albany…
:lol that explains it, uve prolly seen him a million times over there…
no, man. what im saying is, will you rob performance if the piping is too large or can you just use whatever
haha ive only noticed the hat once…but i do work there a lot…i work inside as well as drive for delivery…
he’s got an n/a small displacement motor in his car, there are no turbo’s/ superchargers/ nitrous in play. the motor has stock compression/stock cams/ stock tune
this is why i said he’s not going to be in the 200 to 300 hp range so there is no reason to go bigger then a 2 1/4. not b/c when you hit 200 hp you need atleast a 2 1/4 but b/c with his setup he’s nowhere near the 200 mark to begin with
now as for a size chart, you forgot to add in if the pipes are pie cut or mandrel bent… if it’s pie cut then that totally throws off your table of non-variables
:rofl
I love wings thats place is awsome…next time say something ill shoot shit with ya
