no it will never suck anything up (thats only the intake) . Exhaust doesnt generate any suction.
If you get stuck, stall, and the exhaust is submerged, water will flow into it to wherever the water line is. As soon as you turn the engine over, all the water will be pushed out the exhaust (just make sure you dont get the motor under water). If there is a large clump of dirt/clay in the exhaust tip you will have to get it out my hand because the truck may not start. (not enough pressure to push it out)
